Urfi Javed has been making heads turn with her quirky and bold fashion statements. She is much known for her clothes and viral photos on the internet. While everyone knows her on social media, only a few know her real story. Urfi Javed opened up about her life. Urfi Javed was born in UP, Lucknow. Urfi Javed said, "When I was 15, someone uploaded my picture on a porn site. It was a normal picture. I had posted a photo in a tube top as my Facebook display picture (DP). Someone downloaded and uploaded it on an adult site. Then someone saw it and said ki teri picture porn site par hai. Everyone started blaming me. I was told that I am a porn star." Urfi also opened up about how her father abused her for the same. "Even my own father said 'you are a porn star.' My father was trying to gain sympathy from all by telling everyone that the adult website people have asked me for Rs 50 lakh to remove the picture. I knew the truth but kept quiet because I was being beaten. I thought I am the victim here then why are you hitting me but they were not ready to believe me," she added. Urfi also revealed that she was suicidal at one point but decided to give her life a second chance and ran away to Delhi. She was 17 at that time and started taking tuitions to support herself. Later, she started working in a call center. Soon, she decided to go try her luck in Mumbai. She used to stay at a friend's house as she didn't have money or even any relatives. She did odd jobs and gave auditions and interviews. After a long period of struggle, she did very well in a TV serial and tried her luck in Bigg Boss. Urfi Javed has been frequently trolled for her clothes and the experiments she does with them. She even stitched many of her clothes.

Urfi opened up about how she was deceived by a producer of a web series and made to do an explicit scene. In the interview Urfi said, "There was a scene where the actor playing my brother-in-law in the show was supposed to look at me, but the producer turned the look in touching. She made that guy touch my legs and she started asking him to lift my saree so that my underwear gets to be seen, etc. Then I realized that she played with me. But then I had to keep going. I was feeling so helpless. Even the other girl, she was also new, and she too had no idea that this was going to be the lengths to which they were going to make us do. The producer was screaming at the other girl to put her hands in my pants. The producer was taking off my clothes and I was begging her not to do that. She literally came and snatched my cloth and I was just in my bra, and the other girl had to also remove her bra.”

So what happened next? “The next day, I stopped going to the sets. I said I cannot do this, and I switched off my phone. Further, Urfi also revealed how she was 'crying and begging' for the producer to stop but was threatened to be put in jail if she did not perform the same explicit scene. Urfi added, "They even made me perform a full-fledged lesbian scene. I was crying on the bed and begging them not to make me do it as I won’t be able to do it. I told them that I cannot do this, and I am sorry. But she was constantly threatening me saying that you’ve signed a contract and I will get you put behind bars etc." Javed went on to explain that she was later sued by the producer for Rs 40 lakhs. She even said that she had contemplated committing suicide at that point in her life, as she was totally clueless as to what to do, and she didn’t even have the aforementioned amount of money. Javed somehow managed to come out of all that mess, as she had also done a police complaint about what the producer made her do." Reacting to the same, she said that she was questioned about her morality and character. But not caring about faceless people’s opinions on the Internet, she kept embracing herself and expressed self-acceptance through her choice.

Urfi mentioned that she didn’t have money and borrowed from people to buy clothes. When asked about being financially secure, she said, "I feel it now. Even last year, I didn’t have money. People used to see me dressed up like that, in front of the media, everything was from money lent from others. Even for Bigg Boss (OTT) I had borrowed money to buy and stitch clothes. I borrowed money from so many people and finally I could repay them now. Until last year, I didn’t even have money for rent. Once I figured out rent, I didn’t have money to eat. But I made friends like that. I would eat at their places. The tension would be to buy clothes, shoes, make-up and maintain a living. Till now, I can’t save money. But I am not a spendthrift. I don’t go to parlour. I don’t have many luxurious items. But the responsibilities are such, I have so many people working for me, so money just comes and goes. There’s no saving yet,” Meanwhile, Urfi Javed's fashion choices may not get the approval of many, however, they do get the attention of many. From actors and politicians to authors, everyone has noticed her bold and risky outfits. She's been in the news for her sartorial choices ever since she appeared on Bigg Boss OTT.
