Tamil actor Vishal had a miraculous escape from a near-death situation during the shooting of his movie 'Mark Antony' when a truck on the sets lost control and advanced towards the actor and his co-actors. Fortunately, everyone escaped unscathed.
According to the plan, Vishal had to drop to the ground in the scene while the truck was to hit a wall and then stop, but the wall collapsed and the truck apparently lost control and advanced towards the area where the artistes were stationed. The truck could not come to a halt while Vishal finished his scene. The truck managed to avoid Vishal by a few inches. Sharing the video, Vishal thanked God, and said that he just missed dying by a few seconds and a few inches. The accident video quickly went viral on social media, with several Twitter users reacting to it, including actor S J Suryah who also is another lead actor in the film. S J Suryah retweeted the video and wrote that he is thankful to god as instead of taking the straight route, the lorry went a little diagonal if it had come straight, they both would not be tweeting now.” “Yah great thanks to GOD we all escaped”.
The film’s production company tweeted and assured that there were no injuries on the set. 'Mark Antony' is directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The internationally renowned stunt director Peter Hein, together with his team are doing the action scenes.
