Ola Driver Robbed by Passengers

A gang of four men rob an Ola driver at gunpoint.

In Mumbai, a 28 year old Ola driver was robbed at gunpoint by 4 men. The driver’s name was Mohammad Rafi.  He drove a Hyundai accent which was owned by his employer Ashiya Khan. The driver got a booking for a passenger named Ajay Raj at 1.25am.He went to pick him up near Thakur Village in Kandivali. Three men entered the cab, one sat next to him while the other two sat behind.

At 2.00am they reached their destination near Hiranandani in  Thane. When Rafi asked the man next to him to pay, he pointed a revolver at Rafi’s head.

They forced him to drive to an isolated location.  They took his ATMs card and blindfolded him. They again drove for 2 hrs and forced him to reveal his ATM passwords.The thieves withdrew Rs. 16,000 cash from Rafi’s ATM cards, they took his wallet and his mobile phone too.

Once they were done robbing him, they drove away with his car and left him at the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

Rafi had to take a lift from a van. The van dropped him at a police station In Panvel where he filed an FIR
