Bollywood actress and dancer Nora Fatehi gave an electrifying performance on the stage of the fan fest at FIFA World Cup 2022, which later received a mixed reaction.

The FIFA world cup is currently being held in Qatar. Although the Indian football team has not yet made it to qualify for the Fifa World Cup, a lot of Indian fans follow the sports and support various teams in this world class international footballing event. On 29th November, Bollywood actress and dancer Nora Fatehi gave an electrifying performance on the stage of the fan fest at FIFA World Cup 2022. The fest was held at Al Bidda Park in Doha, Qatar. She danced to her “Light The Sky”. She also asked the audience to say ‘Jai Hind’ and waved India's national flag with pride on stage.

She picked up the Indian flag from the stage that was lying, then waved it, but due to windy weather, the flag turned upside down. Without realising, she held the flag in her palms upside down. However, Indians all over social media were not happy and called out to Nora for "disrespecting" the flag. She stood on the stage and waved the tricolour with immense pride. The incident has gone viral, and many people posted angry comments. In India, as per the law, the tricolour has to be held in the right way with the orange part on top and the green part down. It must never be held upside down.
