No decision on T20 World Cup Till August

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the T20 world cup has been shrouded in uncertainty.

Many sporting events around the world have been canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Even the super-profitable IPL has been canceled and they have not announced when it will be held. Since the virus has spread around the world, there is a lot of uncertainty over the T20 World Cup as well. The T20 World Cup is scheduled to be held from October 18 to November 15 in Australia. 

In March, the Australian Government sealed borders, except for citizens, permanent residents, and their close family members. Having imposed a complete lockdown, Prime Minister Scott Morrison stated that travel restrictions will likely last up to six months. This means travel restrictions might be there until at least September end.ICC has said that no decision on the T20 World Cup will be taken till August. Many cricket tournaments around the world have been postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
