Man Who Raped & Murdered 6yr Old Commits Suicide

Pallakonda Raju, accused in the case of rape and murder of a six-year-old girl, was found dead on the railway track in Warangal, Telangana.

We had recently released about an horrible incident of a 6 year old who was raped and murdered in Saidabad, Hyderabad. The rapist’s name was Pallakonda Raju. Earlier according to news reports it was thought that he was arrested but he was not arrested and had run away. The police were searching for him for the last 7 days but they could not find him. Thousands of police officers had been deployed across Telangana to catch Raju. The police even announced that anyone who caught him or gave information that led to his arrest would be given a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh. On 16th September at around 9.45am Near Ghanpur Railway Station in Warangal district a Railway Line man saw Raju near the railway track but he did not immediately recognize him. He started to question him but raju gave evasive answers and ran away. Then the Railway worker suspected Raju and called a colleague. Raju disappeared.

The two railway workers started walking near the tracks when they saw a few villagers and informed them that they saw a suspicious person. Suddenly a villager started shouting. When the workers reached the spot they saw raju’s dead body. The villager said he recognised Raju and started shouting so Raju jumped in front of the train. The cops were immediately alerted. Upon investigation they found that it was indeed Raju. His identity was confirmed because of a tattoo on his arm. The police are not sure how Raju reached Ghanpur station from Saidabad. It is suspected that Raju may be trying to run away to his native village which is Jangaon District. Earlier, when Raju's body was brought to the MGM Hospital for postmortem, a large number of people gathered and a man attacked the ambulance, slapping it with his slippers. Lots of police were there to control the crowd. After the post-mortem at the MGM hospital in Warangal, the police refused to hand over the body to the family. Fearing that taking the body to Hyderabad might lead to disturbances, the police asked the family to cremate the body at Warangal. After a prolonged argument, the family members gave in.
