Man Flies Using Jetpack, Two Died While Paragliding

A video of a man flying in the air using a jetpack is going viral, meanwhile two cases of death during paragliding in India have been reported on the same day.

In today’s era of technology and science, a new technology comes up almost every day and blows up our minds. It could be anything from machinery that helps in agriculture or something that looks futuristic, like the flying cabs we earlier released about; these things never fail to amaze us. Now, in a recent viral video originally shared by businessman, Tansu Ye?en shows something similar. The opening scene of the video features a person with a  jetpack placed on his back, with flames coming out from it. People on the ground watch and record the action as the man soon spreads his arms and uses the jetpack to fly. He also performs large leaps from one place to another, finishing with a smooth landing. Since this video was shared on twitter, it has been viewed 2.4 million times and has several comments.The video has gained traction on the platform, amassing more than a million views and drawing a number of responses. One suggested that the jetpack could have been inspired by the popular Marvel superhero Iron Man. “Tony Stark made that when he was 8,” a person said. Although such technologies amaze us, the fact that such adventures can sometimes become life threatening cannot be denied.

Recently, a 50-year-old South Korean man died after falling 50 feet to the ground while paragliding in Gujarat's Mehsana district, on Saturday, 24th of December at around 5:30 PM. Shin Byeong Moon was killed after his paraglider failed to open properly, because of which he lost balance and fell from a height of about 50 feet. The victim's friends rushed him in a semi-conscious state to a private hospital where he died during treatment. According to the doctors, the man suffered a heart attack due to the shock of falling.

In another shocking incident, a 30-year-old tourist from Maharashtra fell to his death while paragliding in the Dobhi area of Kullu district on Saturday, 24th December. According to eyewitnesses, hundreds of victims fell. of their feet, possibly due to harness failure during the paragliding. While the tourist died on the spot, the pilot of the paraglider was safe. Such technology and adventure sports might result in a short-term sense of thrill. and adventure can even become life threatening sometimes. What do you think about this?
