Kareena Kapoor Blames Seema Khan For COVID Infection

Kareena Kapoor tests positive for COVID-19 and blames Seema Khan for the same. Watch our latest video for all the details.

A group of celebrities in Bollywood met for a party at Karan Johar’s home last week on 8 December. Seema Khan, Maheep Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Malaika Arora & Amrita Arora were present at the party among many others. However this week many of the attendees have started testing positive for COVID-19. One of the guests Seema Khan was apparently coughing at the party and now she is the first person to test positive for COVID-19. Even Kareena Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor and Amrita Arora confirmed on Instagram that they had the infection. Kareena Kapoor put out a statement through her spokesperson which said, "Kareena has been extremely responsible throughout the lockdown period. She has been careful every time she's stepped out. Unfortunately, this time she and Amrita Arora contracted Covid at an intimate dinner where a few friends had gathered to catch up. It wasn't a big party as was reported. Among that group, there was one person who seemed unwell and was coughing, and who eventually passed it on. This person should have been responsible enough to not attend the dinner and put others at risk,"

People are saying that this person could be Seema Khan as she was coughing at the party. Kareena Kapoor and Amrita Arora had also attended another party on the previous day 7 December, hosted by Anil Kapoor's daughter Rhea Kapoor. Officials said it was hard to say where they caught the infection. All those who have tested positive are isolating at home and have very minor symptoms. The BMC is now testing everyone at the party and making sure the virus does not spread. Now they are saying that Kareena Kapoor's family is not cooperating with the BMC3r . After asking them repeatedly, Kareena Kapoor's family members told BMC that Saif Ali Khan has not been in Mumbai for the past one week. However, they haven't revealed anything about when he will be back. He is yet to be contacted.

BMC sources said that for now there has been no foreign travel history of any celebrities, so for now no tests for Omicron will be done. Celeb parties where Covid precautions like masks and distancing were skipped have become a huge concern as Mumbai tries to keep Omicron cases in check. Punjabi rapper AP Dhillon held a concert at a Mumbai five-star hotel on Sunday 12 December. Bollywood celebrities like Jahnvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and her brother attended the event. Now an FIR has been registered.
