Imran Khan Admits to 40,000 Terrorists in Pak
For the first time a Pakistani Prime Minister has admitted to the presence of terrorists on Pakistan soil. This has led to PM Imran Khan being called a liar by all.
In Washington D.C, USA at a US Institute of Peace event, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has finally admitted that there are still 30,000-40,000 terrorists in Pakistan. Right now there are 40 different terrorists groups operating in Pakistan.He said that these terrorists had fought in Afghanistan and Kashmir. Pakistan kept lying to the USA for a long time. Imran Khan blamed the previous Pakistan governments. He said that the old governments did not control terrorism and they did not give the USA details about terrorism. He said that till he was elected as the Prime Minister the previous government allowed the terrorists to do whatever they wanted in Pakistan. There were no rules to control them.
The Opposing party in Pakistan PPP (Pakistan’s Peoples Party) said that Imran Khan has a habit of lying a lot. Many in Pakistan are also saying that earlier he was okay with terrorists now he is saying something else. The previous governments would allow terrorists that attacked India to stay in Pakistan. They used terrorists to regularly attack india as well.However many say that for the first time a Pakistani official has taken such a step. None of the Pakistan government has done this before. Many asked him about the Hafiz Saeed who planned the 26/11 attacks. Hafiz Saeed was taken into custody by Pakistan right before Imran Khan left for the USA. He said that he can not say what the Courts in Pakistan will do now. But he is sure that he does not want terrorists groups to operate in Pakistan anymore.
