A person affected with this rare condition cannot grow nails either on their fingers or toes. The viral image, which was reportedly first posted on the Reddit subgroup 'Damnthatsinteresting', shows a person's hand with no fingernails. At first glance, it looks like an odd appearance of a person wearing a skin-colored glove. But the photo is real and it shows the hand of a real person who suffers from a medical condition called Anonychia congenita. Many are born without nails on their fingers or toes due to the condition. In some cases, only part of the nail is missing or not all fingers and toes are affected. Soon after the post went viral, internet users were shocked to learn about the condition. Many discussed how life would be difficult for people suffering from Anonychia congenita.A user wrote, “Oh man. Dropping a playing card on the floor ruins the entire deck,”
