Because of her Leaders & Governments of many countries have started taking Global Warming seriously and are working to solve it. Greta isn’t much of a fan for awards. She thinks that awards aren’t what the environmental movement needs right now. However, she gladly dedicated this particular recognition with climate activists everywhere.

This is why Time Magazine decided to name give her an award and name her ‘Time’s Person of the Year’

Times Magazine has been giving this award since 1927. But that time it was called ‘Time’s Person of the Year’

The name of the award was then changed as it can be given to any man, woman, group or concept that has had the most influence on the world during the previous 12 months. This award is not always positive. It can be given to anyone who has done anything big or has had a lot of influence.
