The Ministry of Railways took to Twitter to share the news and laud Rosaline Arokia Mary, a chief ticket checker, for her commitment to her duties. Ticket inspectors catching train travellers without tickets is a very common sight in India. A lot of times we may find corrupt officials, who in exchange for money, give a temporary seat to a passenger without ticket. In spite of this, there are a lot of honest ticket checkers who take fines from the wrong-doers. And when a woman ticket inspector sets a record in collecting fines, she deserves to be appreciated.
The Railways Ministry was very proud of Rosaline Arokia Mary, who recently became the first female ticket checker to collect more than Rs 1 crore in fines from travellers who didn't have their tickets or had invalid ones. The Ministry of Railways tweeted on their official Twitter handle to share an appreciative post and pictures about the achievement of Rosaline, who works as the chief ticket inspector of the Southern Railways.
A lot of users on Twitter went crazy on this post and started appreciating and applauding Rosaline. Users in the comment section were very inspired and very positive towards the accomplishment.
