Cricketer Suresh Raina Opens Restaurant in Amsterdam

Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina opens an authentic Indian restaurant in Amsterdam, offering a diverse range of flavorful dishes. Watch our video to find out.

Apart from his love for cricket, former India and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) player is also known for his fondness with food. Being a foodie himself, Suresh Raina has often shared pictures of him cooking at home. 

Having said that, Raina has now decided to launch his own restaurant in Amsterdam, Netherland. On 23rd June Raina announced on social media that he has opened an Indian restaurant in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

He said the restaurant will provide an authentic taste of Indian cuisine to the customers. In a long Instagram post, he wrote, “ Get ready for a culinary explosion like never before! I am absolutely ecstatic (happy) to introduce Raina Indian Restaurant in Amsterdam. 

Now, I am on a mission to bring the most authentic and genuine flavors from different parts of India straight to Europe's heart. From the rich spices of North India to the aromatic curries of South India, Raina Indian Restaurant is a tribute to the diverse and vibrant culinary tapestry of my beloved country. He also posted a set of photos of the restaurant along with some clips from his time in the kitchen. The menu offers Chicken Chaat, Mix Pakora, Onion Bhaji, Kebab varieties, Dahi Bhalla, Pani Puri, Chaat Papri, Aloo Chaat and piping hot Samosas. As for the price range, the cheapest dish on the menu is Raita and it costs 1.49 euros (Rs 132), whereas the costliest dish is Tandoori Lobster. It costs 24.5 euros (Rs 2,183). Raina was recruited as a commentator and analyst for IPL, which is a significant salary. Apart from this he also has several advertisements. 
Raina also co-founded a babycare brand called Maate, which sells chemical-free and ayurvedic products for childcare. Apart from this, he also invested in a startup company called Sahicoin, which publishes news regarding cryptocurrency.
