China Tries to Capture Land in Pangong, Ladakh

China has once again intruded at the Indian territory in Pangong Lake in Lake. Watch our latest video for all the details.

At the Galwan Valley, Ladakh in June, there was a violent fight between the Indian and Chinese soldiers at the India-China border. In the clash 20 Indian soldiers were martyred (died). The PLA which is the People's Liberation Army - it is the name of the Chinese army - they had entered into Indian territory. After the Galwan clash both India and China started talking and discussing to resolve the problems. High-ranked military officers, Foreign Ministers, and Special Representatives from both countries held meetings to discuss the matter. 

National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval spoke to China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi. After all this, the chinese army entered into an agreement with India and went back by one kilometer from the Indian territory, but after that nothing more happened. On 31st August the Indian Army released a statement stating that on the intervening night of 29th August and 30th August the Chinese army violated the agreement and again tried to enter Indian territory near the southern area of the Pangong Lake, ladakh. However the Indian army successfully managed to stop the Chinese army. 

The statement added that the Indian Army wants peace and is open to discussions. But the Indian Army will do anything to protect Indian territory. On 31st August the Srinagar-Ladakh highway was closed for civilians. The road will remain open only for the defence forces and vehicles.
