Sportspersons all over the world are working hard to raise funds and make donations to help contain COVID-19. From superstar cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli to boxing legend Mary Kom and tennis superstar Sania Mirza, sports figures are doing whatever they can and donating as much they can to help the country limit the spread of the deadly virus. England wicketkeep Jos Butler auctioned his World Cup Jersey and gave 65,000 pounds to help fight COVID-19.

Similarly 15-year-old Indian golfer Arjun Bhati donated Rs 4.30 lakh towards the cause. How could a young boy donate such a large amount of money? Let me tell you. When you win any competition your trophy and medals are very important right? In the last 8 years he worked hard and won 102 trophies. He said Trophies can be won later, but I can’t sit idle when my nation is in need of funds to fight the deadly disease. This 15-year-old boy sold all his medals and trophies to help raise money for helping remove COVID-19. Bhati has sold all the trophies, including 3 world golf championship titles and national championship trophies, to raise money for the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM-CARES).
