Alok Kejriwal Walks the Ramps for Shaina NC
Alok Kejriwal Founder & CEO of ISH News walks the ramp for the Shaina NC Women Empowerment Fashion Show at the CFBP Consumer Film Festival .
Council for Fair Business Practices (CFBP) organised the Consumer Film Festival at the Taj Land’s End in Mumbai on 11th December 2022. This event also had a Fashion Show which was done in collaboration with Shaina NC. Beautiful women walked the ramp in gorgeous sarees. These lovely sarees had been designed by Shaina NC. Her designs were simply beautiful! The women who walked the ramp were all professionals in different fields like, doctors, psychologists, pilots, artists and many more. Wow! Surprisingly, amongst all the women, there was just one man who walked the ramp. Do you know who it was?
It was Mr. Alok Kejriwal, Founder & CEO of India Signing Hands (ISH). For the first time, a Deaf person was given the priviledge to walk the ramp! Mr.Kejriwal was accomanied by his wife and daughter. Have a look. Beautiful, isn't it? Why was Mr.Alok Kejriwal given the opportunity to walk the ramp? This is sincere thanks to Shaina for encouraging him to prove and show the world that Deaf people are no less than the others. Mr.Kejriwal is a Deaf businessman and Shaina NC also wanted to spread awareness about ISH News. This was to show the hearing community that ISH News is the best and valuable channel for the Deaf. Shaina NC adorned all the models with sarees because she believes that women of any profession, can dress themselves in India's cultural saree at any events or programmes in order to embrace Indian cultural clothes. Indian women do not need to be influenced by western fashion trends and must proudly preserve Indian culture and traditions. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr Sanjeev Kapoor, India's most popular Master Chef. The other guest was film actress Sonali Bendre. She had been invited as the proceeds of this charity event would be used to support the Cancer Aid Foundation. It will help to change the lives of many who are suffering from cancer. Sonali Bendre too is a cancer survivor who, with her strong determination, defeated cancer. We sincerely thank Shaina NC for inviting and involving Mr.Alok Kejriwal and ISH. We are very grateful and hope the mutual support between Shaina NC and ISH continues. It will also help the Deaf community to prosper and succeed.
