Actress Mahima Chaudhry Diagnosed With Breast Cancer

Actress Mahima Chaudhry was undergoing treatment for breast cancer. However, she is cancer-free now.

Mahima Chaudhry is best-known for her performance in the 1997 hit Pardes, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan. Later she worked in many films and her last film was in 2016. She hasn’t been acting in movies for a while. Now she has made shocking announcement about why she did not act in movies. Recently actor Anupam Kher shared a video that made a shocking revelation about co-actress Mahima Chaudhry.
Kher said that he had called Mahima to ask her to be a part of his new film. That is when she told him about her breast cancer diagnosis. Anupam Kher added in his post: "Her attitude will give hope to so many women all over the world. She wanted me to be part of her disclosing about it. You are my HERO! Friends, send her your love, warmth, wishes, prayers and blessings. She is back on the sets where she belongs.” Mahima was undergoing treatment for breast cancer. However, she is cancer-free now. 

Mahima Chaudhry, in an interview with ETImes, spoke about her cancer treatment.  Mahima said, “I had no symptoms of cancer and it was diagnosed in my routine checkups.”She said that while people are thinking she was in America for her treatment, she was actually in Mumbai. I am cancer-free. It got all over about 3 to 4 months back.” She further revealed that her daughter avoided going to school for two months even after schools opened. This is because her daughter didn't want to risk the COVID virus from coming home and expose her mom to it as Mahima was in the recovery stage. In the interview Mahima said that she hasn't told her parents about her health. They will hear about it on the news now. She also said that she has been receiving calls for work but she couldn’t say yes because she had no hair. She later broke down and had asked Anupam Kher if she could do his film with a wig.
