In almost a clean sweep,Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) created history for the second time by winning maximum seats in the Delhi Assembly Elections. The Delhi State Assembly has a total of 70 seats. Out of these now AAP has won 62 seats! This is a very big win! The BJP won only 8 seats and the Congress did not win a single seat.

The BJP tried very hard to win the elections but they were unsuccessful. AAP is very happy to win because during the Lok Sabha elections they lost very badly. Arvind Kejriwal will take oath as Delhi chief minister on February 16 at Ramlila Maidan in a grand ceremony that will be open to public. All cabinet ministers will also take oath along with Kejriwal at the event. However just hours after AAP won the elections, an AAP volunteer Ashok Mann was shot and killed.  The police have arrested the man and are investigating if the killing was due to a political or personal reason.
