6-Year-Old Girl’s Adorable Complaint To PM Modi

A six-year-old girl’s video message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the burden of homework during online classes has won hearts on the internet.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, people across the world have been forced to stay indoors. People’s and children’s daily routines changed. Lakhs of students across the country are studying online. Aurangzeb Naqshbandi, a journalist, shared a girl's video and wrote, "A six-year-old Kashmiri girl's complaint to PM Narendra Modi regarding long hours of online classes and too much school work." In the 45-second clip, the girl says her classes begin at 10 am and continue till 2 pm. "There is English, Mathematics, Urdu and EVS. And then there is computer class as well. There's so much work for kids. Why do small kids have so much work, Modi Sahab? What can be done? Assalamualaikum, Modi Sahab, Bye."

The clip, which was posted on Twitter on 29th May 2021. It was viewed by lakhs of people and more than thousand people retweeted the video. Many people tweeted that children should be excited for studies and it should not make them tired. Many agreed that the concerns raised by the little girl were legitimate and must be looked into. The tweet even caught the attention of Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha. He said the video is a very adorable complaint. He tweeted that he has directed the School Education department to come out with a policy in 48 hours to ease the burden of homework on school students.
