2 Conspirators of Pulwama Attack Killed in J&K
Two Conspirators of the Pulwama Attack were in a gunfire between security personnel in J&K.
Security forces in J&K had received information that there were terrorists in Bijbehara in Anantnag district of J&K. They then launched a cordon-and-search operation to find the terrorists. While the military was searching for the terrorists, the terrorists then open fired at the jawans. Two terrorists tried to escape the army kept them engaged. The terrorists even knocked on doors of the villagers but no one allowed them to enter.
The gunfight between the army and the terrorists lasted for 6 hours. One Army Jawan was injured. In the end, two terrorists were killed. Their names are Sajad Bhat and Tauseef Bhat. They were part of the Jaish-e-Muhammad terror group. Sajad Bhat had committed many terror crimes. He owned the van filled with bombs in the Pulwama attack on the CRPF.
Tauseef Bhat was 23 years old and was a BA student. He joined the Jaish last year during Ramadan on 12th June. Police officials say he had joined the JeM two days before the Pulwama attack. Militants threw a grenade at a police station in Pulwama but it exploded on the roadside on tuesday (18th June). 8 civilians were hurt in the attack.
