11 Years Since the 26/11 Mumbai Attacks

11 years since the horrific 26/11 attacks, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu paid tribute to the victims. ISH News pays tribute to the martyrs of the attacks.

As everyone knows about the 26/11 mumbai attacks which took place today, 11 years ago  when 10 Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists came to mumbai via sea route from Pakistan. They had planned and coordinated a series of shooting and bombing attacks throughout the city. It took place at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) railway station, Cama Hospital, Nariman House business and residential complex, Leopold Cafe, Taj Mahal Hotel and the Oberoi-Trident Hotel.In these attacks, which took place at several places 166 people were killed and around 300 people were injured.

Remembering the martyrs of the terror attack, on Monday 25th November 2019 Vice President [Box 09  M Venkaiah Naidu paid tribute to the victims of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. He said the nation shall forever be grateful to their sacrifices. He added that we all are in support for families who have lost their close one in these attacks.He said he salute the bravery and devotion of our security personnel who laid down their lives to protect the motherland.

Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Barve has said the Mumbai police is the strongest in the country and now can prevent and fight any terror attack that happens in the city. He said 11 years after the attack Mumbai has strong well trained policemen and commandos that take care for the city. Mumbai has learnt from its mistakes and now not only the police but the common man has become more aware about terrorism and everyone is unitedly working to keep the city safe.
