Five Ways To Manage Stress

Life in 2019, is not easy. We are all working very hard with busy schedules and fast approaching deadlines at work. While doing all of this we develop unhealthy habits such as not eating properly, not eating on time, not drinking water, not exercising, etc. This leads to a lot of stress in a person and they become very anxious. When we are stressed we usually adopt unhealthy habits such as smoking, drinking, etc. This just makes a person’s mental condition worse. They end up getting stuck in a cycle of work and bad habits. 

There are five ways to manage stress: 

 

  1. It is very important to eat well. By eating well I do not mean just filling your stomach. A balanced nutritious diet of fruits, vegetables, drink water, etc. It well help to maintain your physical health and give you a good mood as well. Never skip meals and reduce drinking sodas. 

 

  1. Exercise regularly for at least 30mins. It  will relax your mind and body, and improve your mood. You do not have to do heavy exercise. Just start with relaxing activities like walks, stretching, and meditating. It will really help. 

 

  1. When people are stressed they drink and smoke to help with stress. This will just make your health worse. Try to slowly stop these habits by picking up good habits. 

 

  1. Deep breathing exercises will improve your general mental and physical health. It will also help to improve respiration, digestion, and enhance your mood.

 

  1. We understand that you are busy, but not getting enough sleep is not a solution. Try to get at least 7-9 hours of sound sleep each night so that the next day you are fresh. 

These may seem like common instructions to help with stress. However are you following it on a daily basis? Try to create a healthy routine and follow it with discipline. If you decide anything is possible. Lastly, spending time with family, friends and loved ones is very important. If you are stressed share your feelings with them and take their support to help you lead a happy life.
