Uddhav Thackeray Gives Strong Warning

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, issued a stern warning on spreading communal divisiveness message on social media platforms.

Maharashtra has the highest number of Covid-19 cases. Till now there are more than 500 cases of Covid-19 in Maharashtra and about 25 people have died. Maharashtra CM gave a speech via Facebook Live on Saturday 4th April 2020.In his speech he said that there are many communally divisive messages spreading on Whatsapp, Twitter, TikTok etc. These messages spread hatred among people. He said, “ Like Covid-19 Virus, there is a communal virus.” This communal virus is spreading wrong news and information in the community. People think it is for fun. But still strict action will be taken if anyone spreads such messages. He said that to extend the lockdown or not to extend will depend on the people. People have followed government rules to stop the spread of the virus.  

CM said that  most of the infected cases in Maharashtra had attended the Nizamuddin event in Delhi. They have been identified and kept in isolation. He said that if some people who attended the event have not been contacted by health authorities, then they must contact officials and get checked. The health ministry said that more than 650 people from 14 states across India who attended the Markaz Event at Nizamuddin have tested positive.There were videos and news circulated that the people quarantined in the Nizamuddin area in Delhi were misbehaving. There was news that they were spitting at the doctors, roaming naked in front of the nurses and passing lewd (bad) comments on the nurses.Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS)  Chief Raj Thackeray in his speech said that strict action should be taken against them. This bad behavior is not acceptable.He gave a very strong statement that if they are misbehaving then they should not be treated / cured, they should be shot. Their videos should be made viral so that people know them. 

He also warned the man in the video was wiping his mouth and nose with the currency note that after the lockdown is over, they will see him. He also said that this is not the time for religious talks, the country is more important.
