India has moved a step closer to qualifying for the semi-finals after thrashing West Indies in Manchester by 125 runs.

India has moved a step closer to qualifying for the semi-finals after thrashing West Indies in Manchester by 125 runs. India opened batting again and scored 268/7 in 50 overs. Virat Kohli leads the team again with 72 runs, KL Rahul scored 48 runs, Pandya got a quick 46 runs. 

MS Dhoni was not out for 56. He started slow but in the last few overs he looked like his old self hitting two sixes and one four. His last few overs took India to the score of 268 giving a high total to defend and a good chance for our bowlers to take advantage off.When India came out to bowl they were in a fairly comfortable position with West Indies needing 6 runs an over to start of the match. But West Indies never clicked into there batting. They lost wickets quickly. In the first 5 wickets only one was a lbw all others were caught wild shots.  The West Indians desperately trying to keep up to the run rate. Only one player on their team got over 30 runs and were all out for 143 runs in 34.2 overs. Mohamad Shami was the hero again for Indian bowlers taking 4 wickets in 6.2 overs for only 16 runs. He continued his form from the last game where he got his Hat-Trick. 

Bumrah was in fine form again. He took 2 wickets for only 9 runs in 6 overs. Pandya and Yadav both got a wicket each and Chahal took two wickets as well. After this win, India is the only unbeaten team left in the World Cup. India will play England on Sunday at 3:00 pm IST.  With 3 games to go against England, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka India sit comfortably and should qualify for the Semi-Finals.
