Sometimes, small gestures and efforts by an individual restores your faith in humanity. One such act of kindness was done by a lady from Mumbai and has gained a lot of respect and hearts throughout social media. Priya Singh, a woman from Mumbai  posted a photograph on her LinkedIn web page, which shows her sitting in a cab and the cab driver performing namaz in the backseat of the car. In her social media post, which she posted on Linkedin she wrote “I took an Uber from the airport and after 10 min, Azaan started playing in the driver's mobile,I asked him "iftar kiya apne" (did you do iftar?) he replied "Haan aaj road per hi ho gaya kyuki rental duty thi" (Yes, today I had to perform iftar on the road because I had drive by cab ) I again asked "do you want to pay namaaz" he asked "can I? We parked the car on the roadside to let him do his prayers in the back seat while I sat in the front seat,” Ms Singh said in her  social media post. She further wrote: “That's the kind of India my parents taught me about. We spoke in length about harmony between Hindus & Muslim and I expressed my wish to post this to fuel the basics of humanity, on all social media platforms!”

In today's hectic world, everyone is occupied with a lot of things that prevent them from taking out time to help someone in need, but there are still those who prioritize humanity and go out of their way to help the ones who are in need. This post of Priya Singh on social media again restored our faith in terms like “Unity in diversity” and proved that why India is called as the world’s largest secular and democratic country. Earlier this month, in another such event in Bhopal, a video showed the Hanuman 'Shobha Yatra' being welcomed by members of the Muslim community with flower petals in between heavy security of the police force. The Hindu community was showered with flower petals from rooftops and balconies of Muslim homes. Not only this, but roads were jam-packed with members of both the communities with flowers in their hands hailing and cheering the Hanuman Jayanti chaintings like “Jai Shree Ram” & “Jai Bajrangbali”. The video went viral on social media.
