Virender Sehwag and Wife Aarti Unfollow Each Other on Insta! Another Divorce?
Virender Sehwag and Aarti Ahlawat have sparked divorce rumors after unfollowing each other on Instagram and being seen separately in recent months.
Ace cricketer Virender Sehwag and his wife, Aarti Ahlawat, have reportedly unfollowed each other on Instagram, leading to rumors of a possible divorce. Sehwag, one of India's finest openers in both Test and ODI cricket, has been in the spotlight for his cricketing achievements. He has scored 8,586 runs in 104 matches, including 23 centuries and 32 fifties.
Aarti Ahlawat, on the other hand, has a diploma in Computer Science from Maitreyi College, Delhi University. She is the director of four companies, including AVS Healthcare and Eventura Creations, among others.
Sehwag and Aarti got married in 2004 and have been together for 20 years. They have two sons: Aryavir, born in 2007, and Vedant, born in 2010.
However, in recent months, fans have noticed that Aarti has been missing from Sehwag's social media posts. While Sehwag still has old photos with Aarti, it is noted that he has not posted any pictures of them together for more than 1.5 years.
Aarti has a private Instagram account, so it is difficult to confirm her social media activity. Still, her absence from Sehwag’s posts has raised eyebrows. She was also missing from Sehwag's Diwali 2024 picture with their sons, as well as from photos of their trip to the Vishwa Nagayakshi temple in Palakkad, Kerala.
The last picture Sehwag posted with Aarti was on 28th April 2023. The photo, taken in Dubai, showed the couple smiling and enjoying their time together. The caption read, "Somewhere between living and dreaming. #dubai #happywifehappylife."
However, Sehwag’s current situation seems far from what the caption suggests. On 23rd January 2025, multiple reports claimed that Sehwag and Aarti have been living separately for some time.
Although there has been no official statement from either Sehwag or Aarti, the lack of public appearances together and the recent changes in their social media activity have led to widespread speculation about their relationship.
Fans and followers are eagerly waiting for clarity on the matter, but for now, the couple has not confirmed any details about their personal lives.
