Veteran Hindi and Marathi actor Atul Parchure passed away on 14th October 2024 at the age of 57. Known for his comic performances, Parchure was popular for his roles in Hindi and Marathi films and TV shows, including Comedy Circus and The Kapil Sharma Show. In the Marathi industry, he gained fame for performances in films like Vasu Chi Sasu, Priyatama, and Navra Mazha Navsacha. In Bollywood, he acted in movies like Partner, Salaam-E-Ishq, All the Best, and Billu.
Parchure's death has left both the Hindi and Marathi film industries mourning. Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and actors like Arjun Kapoor, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Supriya Pilgaonkar, and Renuka Shahane paid tribute to him on social media.
According to reports, Parchure had been suffering from liver cancer for over a year. He was admitted to the hospital five days before his death due to worsening health. Last year, in a YouTube interview, Parchure revealed that a 5 cm tumor was found in his liver. Unfortunately, his first treatment went wrong, which caused further health complications.
Despite the medical challenges, Parchure had spoken about how important medical insurance was for him and his family, as it helped manage the financial burden.
Atul Parchure is survived by his mother, wife Sonia, and daughter Sakhil. His passing is a great loss to both the Hindi and Marathi film industries, leaving fans and colleagues saddened by his untimely demise.
