Varun Dhawan’s Best Friend & Driver Manoj Sahu Dies
Varun Dhawan is extremely shattered as the actor’s driver Manoj passed away due to a heart attack.
Actor Varun Dhawan had a driver named Manoj Sahu. Sahu worked for Dhawan for almost 26 years. He was 40 years old. Both of them were very close. Varun would tell him the scripts of various movies and ask his advice on which movies to work in. On 18th January 2022, Sahu was with Varun Dhawan at Mehboob Studios in Bandra when he suddenly felt chest pain and was rushed to Lilavati Hospital. He died at the hospital at 5:30 pm. Varun reportedly spent a long time with Sahu's family at the hospital. Varun then posted a video on his Instagram. The video was taken in 2018 when Dhawan's wax statue was unveiled at Madame Tussauds. In the video, Varun had called Sahu up on the stage, saying, ‘Manoj has worked with me for years. He has always supported me. Manoj please come on stage. I want everyone to meet you.”
Manoj then went on stage and Varun hugged him. People can be heard cheering in the background.
In the caption Varun said, ‘Manoj has been in my life for the last 26 years. He was my everything. I have no words to express my grief but all I want is for people to remember him for his amazing wit, humour and passion he had for life. I will always be grateful I had you in my life Manoj dada????’ Manoj has two young girls and Varun even attended his funeral to support his family.
