Sangeeta Singh, the principal of a primary school in Dandamau village of Bighapur block, Unnao, bunked a morning class on 18th April 2024 to indulge in a facial treatment.
Assistant teacher Anam Khan stumbled upon Sangeeta in the school's kitchen cum store room, where she was receiving the facial. Anam filmed the encounter, capturing Sangeeta's surprise and subsequent reaction.
However, the situation took a violent turn when Sangeeta, upon being confronted by Anam, resorted to physical assault. She chased Anam, thrashed her with a brick, and even bit her hands, causing bleeding.
Anam promptly alerted the police, who conducted a medical examination and registered a case against Sangeeta. Anam shared videos of the incident online, which quickly went viral, drawing widespread criticism towards Sangeeta's actions.
In response, the block education officer ordered an investigation into the matter and assured strict action against Sangeeta. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of upholding integrity and professionalism, especially in positions of authority within educational institutions.
