UAE Confers Highest Honour on PM Modi

Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of The United Arab Emirate’s (UAE) honours Prime Minister Narendra Modi with UAE’s highest civilian award called, “The Order of Zayed”.

Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan is President of The United Arab Emirate’s (UAE).Prime Minister Modi was awarded UAE’s highest civilian award called, “The Order of Zayed”. Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the Crown Prince of UAE. He said that India and UAE have a strong historical and political bond. The prince said that PM Modi has made the two country’s relationship even stronger.

In respect of his efforts, the President of UAE has awarded PM Modi this award. The Prince also said that because of the friendship between the two countries, the people of both countries are extremely happy. In response to this PM Modi said that he will receive he is very honoured to receive the award. The two leaders have met many times in the past. The prince has visited India twice since 2015.

The Ministry of External Affairs and the UAE officials have not confirmed when the award ceremony for PM Modi will be held. There are rumours, that PM Modi may travel to UAE soon. The previous recipients of the The Order of Zayed were Russian President Putin, British Queen Elizabeth and former Pakistan President Musharraf.
