Two More Deaf Individuals Win National Awards
Two Deaf individuals, Priyanka Deepak Dabade and Kumari Janvi, won national awards for their exceptional achievements in art, culture, and education.
Yesterday, we shared a video about the award ceremony held by the Government of India on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
In that video, we told you that our partners, Star Sports, and two amazing Deaf individuals, Ashutosh and Kanika Agarwal, won a national award for their fantastic work.
But guess what? There are more updates to share!
Two More Deaf People Won National Awards!
First is Priyanka Deepak Dabade.
Priyanka is doing wonderful work in the field of Art & Culture. Even though she is Deaf, Priyanka found love and learned many skills like fashion, crafts, and art. She worked very hard and even won a silver medal at the International Abilympics 2023 in France.
Priyanka also helps other disabled people by teaching them new skills. She was awarded the National Award for Individual Excellence in the category of Sarvashreshth Divyangjan (Best Disabled Person).
Next, we have Kumari Janvi.
Kumari Janvi is just 13 years old and has already won awards in many areas. She has received prizes for essay writing, chess, painting, and drama at both the National and State levels.
Her success in crafts and education shows how much she has grown and how hard she has worked.
Kumari Janvi has also won the National Award-2024 for Individual Excellence in the category of ‘Shreshth Divyang Bal / Balika’.
A Big Congratulations to Priyanka and Janvi!
We are so proud of Priyanka and Janvi for winning the national award this year! Their hard work and dedication are truly inspiring. They prove that nothing is impossible when you are determined to succeed!
