Twisha Sharma Death Case: Key Updates

AIIMS Delhi's second post-mortem report has been submitted to the CBI, while investigators continue examining evidence and have yet to determine whether Twisha's death was a suicide or murder.

The Twisha Sharma death case continues to raise questions as the CBI intensifies its investigation.

Following a request from Twisha's family, a second post-mortem was conducted by a four-member AIIMS Delhi team in Bhopal after approval from the Madhya Pradesh High Court. The report has been submitted to the CBI, but its findings remain confidential.

In another development, a Bhopal police sub-inspector has been fined ?5,000 for lapses in the initial investigation, particularly regarding the handling of crucial evidence.

Meanwhile, Twisha's husband, Samarth Singh, and mother-in-law, retired judge Giribala Singh, remain in judicial custody as investigators continue examining the second post-mortem report, crime scene reconstruction, digital evidence, phone records and witness statements.

Despite weeks of investigation, the CBI has not yet concluded whether Twisha's death was a suicide or murder. 

The probe is still underway, with officials carefully verifying all evidence before reaching a final conclusion.
