Trump Says No US Military Hurt in Iran Attack

In response to Iran missile attack on US military troops based in Iraq, Donald Trump said Iranian missile strikes did not harm any US military personnel. Watch the video for the entire story.

Yesterday, Iran attacked US military bases in Iraq. Iran did this to avenge the death of their leader Qasen Soleimani who was killed by the USA. On Wednesday 8th January 2020, US President Donald Trump said Iranian missile strikes on bases in Iraq had not harmed any US military personnel. The damage was very minimal. Trump said that this showed that Iran wanted to de-escalate a standoff. Trump said this is very good for all the countries in the world. 

Iran’s foreign minister said whatever Iran did was in self-defence. Iran does not want to make the situation worse.When the US killed Soleimani & Iran Attack US military base in Iraq, the whole world was afraid that it would lead to war. The Stock exchange all over the world started falling.However these statements by Trump and Iran’s Foreign minister, has calmed everyone and the markets rose. 

Officials from the US and European government said they believed Iran had deliberately sought to avoid US military casualties in its missile strikes to prevent an escalation.Trump had earlier said that  if Iran retaliated for Soleimani's killing he would bomb 52 Iranian sites. Now lets see what happens next.
