Trump, Netanyahu, Meloni & more: Who is on Iran's 'Hit-list'?
Iran has released a controversial "revenge list" of 13 world leaders, raising global fears of escalating tensions and a possible wider conflict in the Middle East.
The US-Israel-Iran conflict has already changed the Middle East, with Iran losing several top leaders. Now, a new development has raised global concerns.
On 11th July 2026, Hamshahri, a newspaper linked to Tehran Municipality and believed to have government support, published an AI-generated graphic titled "Revenge is Certain." The image showed US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in orange prison uniforms with crosshairs on their foreheads.
The report also listed 13 world leaders as targets, including Donald Trump, Benjamin Netanyahu, Marco Rubio, Pete Hegseth, Mike Huckabee, Israel Katz, Gideon Sa'ar, Eyal Zamir, Giorgia Meloni, Keir Starmer, Emmanuel Macron and Friedrich Merz.
Iran's new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, recently vowed to avenge those killed in the war. However, the list has surprised many experts. European leaders such as Italy's Giorgia Meloni, France's Emmanuel Macron and Germany's Friedrich Merz are included, even though their countries did not directly participate in attacks on Iran. Meanwhile, no Gulf leaders appear on the list, despite reports that some Gulf nations allowed the US to use their military bases.
Adding to the tension, Israel's intelligence agency, Mossad, recently warned that Iran had developed a new plan to assassinate President Trump.
Speaking at the NATO Summit, Trump himself hinted at the dangers surrounding the conflict, saying that leaders can disappear quickly and that "I may be gone too."
If an assassination attempt on President Trump were ever successful, experts fear it could trigger one of the biggest global crises in recent history and push the world closer to a wider conflict.
For now, the world watches anxiously, hoping that revenge does not turn into another devastating war.
