Taliban Suicide Bomber Kills 4 in Pakistan

A suicide bomber has detonated his explosives in Balochistan, Pakistan killing 4

The Taliban has captured almost all of Afghanistan except for one place called Panjshir.

There are resistance forces fighting against the Taliban in Panjshir. The resistance forces are under the leadership of Ahmad Massoud son of the famous Afghan Commander Ahmad Shah Massoud. According to news reports, almost 600 Taliban fighters have been killed by the resistance forces in Panjshir and 1000s of Taliban fighters have even surrendered. However the intense fighting continues and Taliban is desperate to capture Panjshir. The Taliban is using modern drones, bombs and highly advanced guns. In other news, a  suicide bomber riding a motorcycle with 6kg of explosives rammed the motorcycle into a vehicle carrying the Frontier Corps. This incident happened on 5th September in Balochistan, Pakistan at a security checkpoint. Four people were killed in the blast while 20 others, 18 soldiers and 2 bystanders, were injured in the attack. Prime Minister Imran Khan tweeted and condemned the incident.

Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack. TTP, which renewed its allegiance to the Afghan Taliban after they captured Kabul, has recently started fighting against the Pakistani army by planning such attacks. For the last 20 years, groups like the TTP and others have been demanding that Balochistan be an independent country. However, Balochistan, bordering Iran and Afghanistan, is a very important place for Pakistan. This is because Pakistan has allowed China to work on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor in Balochistan. The projects, including road construction, power plants and agricultural development, have cost billions of dollars.
