Unable to come to terms with Sushant Singh Rajput's sudden death, the actor's sister-in-law, Sudha Devi, has passed away in his hometown Purnia in Bihar. Sudha Devi was the wife of his cousin Ambrendra Singh and they were his neighbours in Purnia. She had been sick for a long time. When she heard about Sushant’s suicide, she stopped eating. On Monday 15th June at 5:00 pm she died in Purnia. This is another shock to Sushant’s family. Sushant’s two sisters and father arrived in Mumbai yesterday and his last rites were performed in Vile Parle, Mumbai yesterday amid heavy rains.
Bollywood stars such as Shraddha Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi, Varun Sharma, etc attended the funeral.
Even his rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was present. Sushant and Rhea were going to start shooting for their first film together in May but it was postponed due to the COVID outbreak. Sushant Singh Rajput's death has started discussions around the struggle of survival in Bollywood. Many actors have said that working in Bollywood is very high pressure due to strong competition and it is even more difficult if you don’t have any connections. This can lead to depression and many other mental health problems.
