Smriti Mandhana, Palaash Muchhal Wedding CANCELLED: What Really Happened?
Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal have confirmed that their wedding has been cancelled after weeks of rumours and confusion
There has been a lot of confusion on social media regarding the wedding of Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal. ISH News had earlier released a video explaining the entire story. Now, there is a major update.
After removing all her relationship photos and staying inactive for some time, Smriti finally posted on Instagram for the first time after postponing her wedding. On 5th December, she shared a brand video in paid partnership with the toothpaste brand Colgate. While the video focused on her career, fans were more interested in how happy she looked. Many also noticed that her engagement ring was missing, while some wondered whether the video was shot before the engagement.
After days of speculation and rumours, Smriti Mandhana finally broke her silence. In an Instagram story, she said there had been a lot of gossip about her life, and she felt it was important to speak up. She explained that she is a private person but needed to clarify that the wedding has been cancelled. She added that her higher purpose is to represent India at the highest level and win trophies for the country, and that is where her focus will remain.
Soon after Smriti’s statement, Palash Muchhal also released his own. He said he is moving on from the relationship and shared that it has been very painful to see people react so easily to baseless rumours about something he considered very pure. Palash added that it has been the most difficult phase of his life and he wants to face it gracefully. He also warned that his team will take legal action against those spreading false and defamatory content online. He ended by thanking everyone who supported him with kindness.
