Sini Shetty from Karnataka is the New Miss India
Miss India 2020, Manasa Varanasi from Telangana crowned her successor Sini Shetty as the Miss India 2022. The event took place at the Jio Convention Centre in Mumbai on Sunday evening of 3rd July.
Femina Miss India is the biggest beauty pageant in India which happens every year. The winner of Miss India 2022 was announced on July 3, and she is 21-year-old Sini Shetty from Karnataka. The event took place at the Jio Convention Center in Mumbai on Sunday evening of 3rd July. The finale of the Miss India pageant 2022 was an event filled with stars, with performances by Kriti Sanon and Lauren Gottlieb. Meanwhile, celebrity anchor Maniesh Paul hosted the grand event. The Miss India jury panel comprised actors such as Neha Dhupia, Dino Morea and Malaika Arora. Cricketer Mithali Raj was also part of the jury. Besides, Rahul Khanna, Rohit Gandhi and Shiamak Davar were also a part of the panel who decided the result. When the panel asked about the Mantra Sini Shetty stuck by, she brilliantly answered it saying that “It is the hustle (Hard Work)’ in which she believes the most. In a ritual in which the Miss India is crowned by the Miss India of the previous year, Miss India 2020, Manasa Varanasi from Telangana crowned her successor Sini Shetty as the Miss India 2022. Sini Shetty will now represent India at the prestigious 71st Miss World pageant. Sini Shetty belongs from Karnataka and is currently pursuing a course in Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Although Sini’s hometown is based out in Karnataka, ever since her childhood she has been brought up in Ghatkopar, Mumbai.
She completed her schooling from St. Dominic Savio Vidyalaya, Ghatkopar and later enrolled in graduation from S.K Somaiya Degree College. Meanwhile, Rubal Shekhawat from Rajasthan emerged as Miss India 2022 first runner-up and Shinata Chauhan from Uttar Pradesh was crowned as the Miss India 2022 second runner-up.
