Sex, drugs and cricket…. This pretty much sums up the colourful life of the late Shane Warne. Warne passed away at the age of 52 on Friday 4 March from a reported heart attack while in Thailand. His sudden death shocked the entire world and not just the people from the cricketing world. Shane Warne is definitely the finest spinner world cricket will ever witness, but he was always known as the “BAD BOY OF CRICKET” because of all the controversial yet very colourful scandals which have happened in his life.
1. 2000: Harassing a Married Nurse:
Warne was caught harassing married British nurse Donna Wright with offensive & sexual phone calls and voice messages. That time he was during his time as the Australian vice-captain. Warne then had to step down from his vice-captaincy as a result of this news spreading across the world.
2. 2003: Mother of Three Children
In 2002 he was banned from cricket for a year after failing a drug test. At that time Warne was accused by South African lady “Helen Cohen Alon” who had three Children of sending her vulgar text messages. He even paid her to keep the matter private.
3. 2003: 3 Months Sexual Affair
Just months later in 2003, fresh sexual allegations were made public by a Melbourne stripper named Angela Gallagher, who claimed to have a three-month affair with the cricketer. She also passed a lie detector test about the same.
4. 2005: Three at the same time
English student Laura Sayers, TV assistant Michelle Masters and mother of three Kerrie Colliemore all spoke publicly of their affairs with this Australian Cricketer. Warne allegedly had sex with Kerrie Colliemore, on the bonnet of his BMW. A close friend of Kerrie’s said: “He couldn’t keep his hands off her. He wanted sex everywhere outside, inside, wherever he could.” The friend also found 48 messages from Warne on Kerrie’s phone. One of the messages read: “Can’t wait to f**k u again”. Nearly an hour later he was texting: “How good was our sex f*****g very hot…How good did it feel?” Warne reportedly also used to text with Michelle Masters, who worked near Warne’s Southampton home. Then, 25 Years Old student Laura Sayers, claimed the cricketer removed his clothes in front of her and pleased her to have sex with him in a hotel in London.
5. 2006: Two British Models
Soon after the controversies of 2005, Shane’s wife Simmone divorced him. Warne who was single again decided to have a threesome with two British models. The whole session was captured on video and later pictures of the same got public in the media, publishing those images allegedly showing the cricketer in several different poses with the models. One of the models, Coralie Eichholz, had reportedly said, Shane blew our minds. He was so fit. I’d give him top marks for more than satisfying us. We had a great time. While the other model Emma Kearney involved said, “Shane’s a stallion and very willing to experiment. He loved playing around with the inflatable and was up for anything.”
6. 2007: Wrong Number
After Shane Warne tried getting back with his ex-wife, Simone gave him a second chance. But Simone caught him red-handed when she received a text message from him which he was sending to his lover, which was: “Hey beautiful, I’m just talking to my kids, the back door’s open.” Simone soon filed for a divorce that year. Simone has since then never turned back and moved on in life.
7. 2011: Porn star over Liz Hurley
Warne started dating British model and actress Elizabeth Liz Hurley when she was still married, but allegedly separated from Indian businessman Arun Nayar in 2010. They got engaged soon after Liz was granted divorce in 2011. But Warne has to be Warne; reports of him cheating on this British beauty with London porn star Chloe Conrad got public. Liz and Warne got separated for a short time and then got back together. For their years their relationship was on-and-off but it came to an end in 2013 when reports of Warne having a sexual relationship with the head of underwear giant Ultimo, Michelle Mone became public.
8. 2015: With a Mother Of Two
Warne was back in the headlines on January 20 when details of his wild one night stand with 43-year-old Kim McGrath, a single mother from Adelaide were made public after she revealed information in an interview for a magazine.
