Seema Haider Says - Hindustan Zindabad, Pakistan Murdabad

Pakistani woman hoists Indian flag in India, while Indian woman celebrates Pakistan's Independence Day after converting to Islam; cross-border controversies and celebrations ensue.

India celebrated its 77th Independence Day, Pakistani citizen Seema Haider, who illegally entered India to live with Sachin Meena, was seen hoisting the Indian flag. In a video that has surfaced on social media, Seema Haider and Sachin Meena were seen hoisting the Tricolour on Sunday as part of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” celebrations at their residence in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida. Clad in a Tricolour sari and donning a patriotic headband, she was also heard raising the slogans of ''Jai Mata Di,'' and chanting ''Bharat Mata ki Jai'' and ''Vande Mataram''. In a video making rounds on social media, Pakistani national Seema Haider was seen chanting "Pakistan murdabad (Down with Pakistan)," revealing her vocal disapproval of her country of origin. Netizens have reacted to the video, and the reactions are varied. “jo apne desh ki nahi hui vo humari kya hogi." wrote one user. Another user wrote, “Pehle toh bol rahi thi ki mai kaise galat bol dun uss mulk ko mai wahan bhi toh rahi hu...Aaj kab intelligence agencies ke pakad liya toh ."Pakistan Murdabad.” During the occasion, Haider, who had reportedly been offered a role in a Hindi film, also clarified that she has turned down the offer. This comes after Ameya Khopkar, general secretary of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) issued a warning to Seema Haider over her debut film stating that no Pakistani citizen should have any place in the Indian film industry. Meanwhile, across the border in Pakistan, Indian nationalAnju was seen celebrating Pakistan's Independence Day 14th August 23. In a video shared on social media, Anju was seen cutting a cake along with Nasrullah at an event. The room was decorated with Pakistan's national flag and the people were seen singing and clapping. It is reported that Anju has converted to Islam and married her Facebook friend Nasrullah. Meanwhile, a video is doing the rounds when a group of fans allegedly beat up a guy who shouts Pakistan Zindabad in a theatre while watching the movie Gadar 2.  It is not known if the alleged person did this out of fun or if the person has a 'humiliation kink' . Meanwhile hundreds of Pakistanis gathered in front of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai before midnight to watch it be coloured in their national flag colours. However, after a few minutes passed by after 12 a.m. the crowd grew disappointed and started creating ruckus. This ruckus later reached social media and went viral. However, it is important to note that the Pakistani flag was in fact displayed on the world-famous skyscraper. A video of this was shared by Burj Khalifa’s original handle on Instagram. However there was an error on the video as it showed the 76th Independence day while even Pakistan was celebrating the 77th Independence Day. The day after Burj Khalifa then congratulated India for its 77th independence day and lit up the tower in the Indian Tricolour.
