Sanjay Dutt Detected With Stage Three Lung Cancer

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has decided to take a sabbatical from films as he has been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer.

Film Journalist and Editor-in-Chief of  Film Information Komal Nahta a magazine announced on Twitter that, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. This has shocked many of his fans. Sanjay Dutt was admitted to the Mumbai hospital on August 8 after he complained of breathlessness.

Mr Dutt returned home from the hospital on August 10 after a two-day stay. He tested negative for COVID-19. 

Sanjay Dutt did not talk about the cancer but has now announced that he will be taking a short break from work for medical treatment. He requested people not to spread rumours. His fans' love will keep him strong and will help him return to work. A close friend of the actor spoke to the media and said Sanjay Dutt is devastated. He also said Sanjay is worried about his 2 little children who are currently in Dubai with his wife Maanayata Dutt. They were in Dubai before the lockdown started and got stuck there.

The friend further stated that the cancer is curable but needs immediate and rigorous treatment. Hence, the actor will leave for the US for the treatment. Sanjay Dutt's new film Sadak 2, which was scheduled for a theatre release this month, will now release on OTT platform Disney+Hotstar.
