Sachin Pilot Files Case Against Bribery Blame
Ex-Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot has filed a case against Congress MLA Giriraj Singh Malinga for making false and malicious statements.
You are all very aware about the political drama happening between Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Ex-Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot are having a bitter dispute. On Monday 20th July Congress MLA Giriraj Singh Malinga had told reporters in Jaipur: "I had a discussion with Sachin Pilot. He spoke to me and said how much do you want. He told me he would pay me Rs 35 crore to leave Congress and go to BJP. This has been happening since December, it is nothing new. I told them I cannot do this," Malinga said that he had spoken to Mr Pilot "two-three times". On Tuesday 21st July 2020, Sachin Pilot, has filed a case against Malinga saying that this is all lies and he will take strict action against Malinga for spreading false information and ruining his image. Giriraj Singh Malinga isn't the first Rajasthan Congress leader to accuse Sachin Pilot of conspiring to bribe MLAs on behalf of the BJP.Chief Minister Gehlot has repeatedly used words like "worthless" - to describe Pilot. The Rajasthan Assembly Speaker has disqualified Pilot and his loyal MLAs from the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. But Pilot has filed a case in the High Court against it. They will find out on Friday (24th July) whether they can, in fact, be disqualified.
