RRR Star Ram Charan See in All Black and Barefoot

Everyone is talking about just one thing right now, that is - RRR. Ram Charan , Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Shriya Saran starred in the film. The film is loved by all and has been collecting crores at the box office. Recently on 4th April, Ram Charan was snapped leaving Mumbai private airport and the actor went on to greet the paparazzi and posed for a few images too. He was in Mumbai for a screening of his movie RRR. But one thing went on to catch everyone's attention, and it was not his usual sense of style. Ram was wearing a black kurta and a matching churidar. Apart from that, what fans observed is that Ram walked out of the airport barefoot and even while posing for the lenses, he didn't wear any footwear. Fans also noticed that Ram travelled with his dog named Rhyme and netizens just can't stop raving about the superstar.
Social media users were wondering why he was barefoot. Let me tell you about it. Ram is following the tradition called Ayyapa Deeksha. In Ayyapa Deeksha a person fasts and follows strict rules for 41 days. For example wearing black clothes, Rudraksha mala, not wearing chappals, sleeping on the floor, not eating non-veg, smoking or drinking etc. They have to stay away from their wives and families as well. After completing the 41 days, they go to the Sabarimala Temple which is a temple of Lord Ayappa and is situated on top of the Sabari hill, in the Pathanamthitta district of Kerala. Ram has been a devout follower of this tradition since he was twenty years old and undertakes this practice twice a year. Lakhs of people take the Sabarimala Pilgrimage every year. It is usually followed by people from South India but people even from North India take the pilgrimage. There is no restriction on people belonging to other religions to enter the temple. But since Lord Ayyappa is a brahmachari, it is strictly followed that only those women who have either passed the fertility age or not reached the stage of puberty are allowed to pray at the temple. Ram Charan then on 5th April landed in Amritsar to begin shooting for his next film tentatively titled. There too he was dressed the same way in black and was barefoot. With these videos, the only thing that fans are lauding him for is his simplicity
