By 30 June 2019, 95 theatres and 230 screens across india will have such facilities.

The theatre will also provide audio description for the blind. This will be available on an app called XL App which is available on android as well as IOS. The app will explain what is going on in the movie through headphones.

Subtitles for the deaf will be available on all the movie shows after 6:00pm. This will be only for those movies which are released with subtitles. The company has asked the producers to help with audio description and subtitles.

Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, joint MD of PVR said that, they want everyone to enjoy watching movies in theatres. He said that by doing this they feel they are helping a large  unserved section of society.
