PM Modi’s Gifts to be Auctioned

The Indian government has decided to auction PM Modi’s gifts. Proceeds from the auction will go to a project that focuses on the conservation of the Ganga river.

PM Modi receives gifts and mementoes from people all over the world. In January this year 1800 gifts were auctioned online. The auction lasted for two weeks and generated a lot of this. Culture Minister Prahlad Patel said that 2,700 gifts received by PM Modi will again be auctioned. The auction will start from 14th September 2019. 

The lowest base price of the mementoes is Rs 200 and the highest is Rs 2.5 lakh, the minister said.The money collected will be given to the Namami Gange. This is a central government project to clean the Ganga.
