PM Modi and Australian PM Watch IND Vs AUS Match Live

PM Modi and his Australian counterpart Albanese attended the first day of the 4th Test match between India and Australia live from the stadium.

A 4 match Test series is going on between India and Australia. Today is the first day of the 4th test match and it is being played at Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad. Coincidentally, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is on a four-day state visit to India from March 8 to March 11. On his visit he will be visiting New Delhi, Ahmedabad and Mumbai. 

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese will watch the first day of the fourth Test match.  First Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the Stadium where Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, BCCI President Roger Binny and BCCI Secretary Jay Shah received him.  When Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese arrived at the Stadium he was welcomed by Prime Minister Modi. When both the leaders arrived at the stadium, cultural performances were on full display. Before the toss, the two Prime Ministers were welcomed with loud cheers as they took a lap of honour around the stadium. PM Modi and Australian PM Anthony Albanese hand over Test caps to team captains - Rohit Sharma & Steve Smith. They met with the players ahead of the match. Australia won the toss and opted to bat first. The leaders of the two countries are set to join the commentary panel as well.  A mammoth of over 1.20 lakh spectators reached the stadium to watch the match. 


Out of the 4 match series, India is leading 2-1. If India wins this Test match, it will qualify for the final of the ICC World Test Championship, where they will be facing Australia in London from 7th June 2023 onwards.
