Pakistan Will Release IAF Pilot Abhinandan

Pakistan Prime Minister releases IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman. Imran Khan urges India to accept their proposal for peace.

On 28 February, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan said that they will release the captured Indian Pilot.He said that Pakistan is doing this as a gesture of goodwill.Imran Khan said that he does not want India to make the situation worse.

He said that India should not see Abhinandan release as a sign of Weakness. Pakistan’s army is tired of war, and does not want to escalate the situation.If India attacks Pakistan again, he said that Pakistan will have no choice but to retaliate.   

The Indian Air Force is very happy that Pakistan is releasing their pilot. The IAF said that Pakistan is not releasing Abhinandan as a gesture of goodwill. They are just following the rules stipulated in the Geneva Conventions and the International Humanitarian Laws

The Indian Government said they will not accept Pakistan’s offer of peace. India said they will accept the peace offer, only when they have proof that Pakistan has removed all the terrorist groups like the Jaish-e-Muhammad.
