Clashes erupted outside the Islamabad Judicial Complex on March 18 when Mr. Khan arrived in Islamabad from Lahore to attend the Toshakhana case. During the confrontation between PTI workers and police, over 25 security personnel were injured. Pakistani police on March 19, 2023 registered a terrorism case against Imran Khan and over a dozen PTI leaders for indulging in vandalism, attacking security personnel and creating unrest. On 4th of April, Tuesday, Khan arrived for the hearing of the terrorism case. He entered the anti-terror court under heavy security. For protection, security guards held up bulletproof shields around him, and he himself wore a makeshift bulletproof helmet. People say that he looked close to the American singer Marshmallow with the bullet-proof helmet. You can see the guards guiding Imran Khan towards the court because it was difficult to see through the slit in the bulletproof helmet.

On that day, Imran Khan was granted interim bail. A total of 37 cases were filed against former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan in different parts of the country.
Imran Khan himself is a petitioner in 19 cases that have been filed against government departments and individuals. Apart from this, the former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has once again appreciated India's foreign policy, in reference to buying cheap crude oil from Russia. He is the first Pakistani prime minister to visit Moscow in 23 years. He had a meeting with Russia and hoped for a discount for Pakistan. However, Russia did not agree and did not help. This is not the first time Imran Khan has appreciated Indian policies. He has done so in the past too. He has also appreciated Modi publicly. In a video, Khan said that Islamabad wanted to get cheap Russian crude oil just like India, but failed. In another statement, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief said, we wanted cheap crude oil from Russia but were not able to do so as the government collapsed in a no-confidence motion.
