Owner of Car Found Near Ambani’s House Found Dead

Owner of the vehicle, recently found parked near billionaire businessman Mukesh Ambani's Mumbai home laden with explosives, has been found dead. Watch our latest video for all the details.

On February 25, the police found an abandoned Mahindra Scorpio parked near Mukesh Ambani's 27-story home, Antilia, with 20 gelatin sticks. An attached letter was found in the car which said, " Nita and Mukesh Ambani and family. This is just a trailer. Next time the gelatin sticks will be connected to a timer and it will explode. Preparations have been made to bomb your entire family. Mend your ways. Good night." CCTV footage showed that the SUV was parked there in the early hours of 25 Feb, and its driver left in another SUV which had accompanied it to the spot. The owner of the vehicle, Hiren Mansukh, visited the Police Commissioner's office after he saw visuals of the SUV found near Ambani's house, which was similar to his vehicle. Hiren said he had parked his SUV near Airoli Mulund Bridge on 17th February after its steering got jammed while he was on his way to attend a family function. The next day, when he went to get the car, it could not be found. After that he lodged a complaint of vehicle theft at Vikhroli police station.

When the police found the vehicle near Ambani’s residence, it had a fake registration number and had four fake number plates. The four plates reportedly matched the registration numbers of vehicles that are part of the Ambanis's Z-plus security convoy. In a recent development, the owner of the vehicle, Hiren's body was reportedly recovered from the Kalwa creek at 10:25 am on 5th March 2021. Hiren had been missing since 4th March evening. His family members had reported him missing at the Naupada Police station in Thane. A case of accidental death has been filed. Top officials said Hiren died by suicide. However, his family has refuted this claim. Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said Hiren was in touch with police officer Sachin Vaze. He demanded the case be handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
