According to various sources, North Korea’s supreme leader Kim Jong-un is in a coma and his sister has assumed power.

Chang Song-min was a close aide of South Korea’s former President Kim Daejung. While talking to the South Korean media, he said that North Korea’s Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un is in a coma and his sister Kim Yo-jong has assumed power. Chang has said this without giving any proof. While the South Korean’s intelligence unit has said that Kim had given some of his authority to his sister to reduce his stress. There are many such rumours but nothing is for sure yet.

Earlier there were reports that Kim Jong-un was in poor health because of multiple surgeries. But 1st May, images of Kim Jong-un started circulating where he made a public appearance inaugurating a fertilizer company. However, Chang says these images are fake.

On 26th August today, North Korea’s newspaper Rodong Sinmun, published a picture of Kim Jong-un attending a meeting. Kim can be seen wearing white suit and smoking a cigarette. According to the news paper, the meeting was about warnings for the spread of coronavirus and a typhoon Bavi which will reach North Korea this week.
